What we stock and why

Our product range at Echogbeta is deliberately curated rather than exhaustive. We stock items that Kisumu households and small businesses actually ask for repeatedly — not an overloaded catalogue that requires an hour to navigate. Every product passes a basic sourcing checklist: durable enough for Kenya's equatorial climate, available for restock when it sells through, priced within the realistic range of our community's budget, and backed by a supplier we've personally vetted. When a product doesn't meet one of those criteria, it doesn't make our shelf. We update the range quarterly, so regulars will find fresh additions alongside consistent staples. Climate-suited sourcing

Reliable restocking

We only list products we can consistently restock within one to two weeks. There's nothing more frustrating than finding a product you depend on is perpetually out of stock.

Transparent pricing

Prices are set at a fair margin above our cost — visible on request. We don't engage in dynamic pricing or inflate margins around high-demand periods.

Supplier accountability

Every supplier in our network has been assessed for quality consistency and after-sales support. If a product has a defect, we have a clear path back through the supply chain to resolve it for you.

What we don't stock

We're transparent about the limits of our product catalogue. We don't carry perishables, controlled substances, or items that require a specialist licence to sell. We don't stock luxury goods at the very top end of the market — that's not the community we serve. Large machinery and bulk industrial materials are also outside our range. If you arrive looking for something we don't have, we won't pretend otherwise; we'll tell you honestly and suggest where in Kisumu you might find it.
